Geographic Information Systems

The Madison County website was recently improved with the addition of an interactive web-based GIS

(Geographic Information Systems) mapping application and viewer. The viewer can be accessed by clicking the link below

With this internet-based GIS viewing tool, users will be able to pick and choose which background map and data layer(s) they wish view from a menu of available information. This new service will allow accessibility to numerous state and local data layers including political boundaries, fire response areas, flood zones, schools, libraries, parks, voter precincts, subdivisions, zoning, parcels, deeds and plats.

Please take time to visit the viewer and feel free to offer any comments or suggestions for improving this service in the future or contact the GIS Administrator Kay Little at 601.855.5531.
